BIOGRAPHY

Born the youngest of three children on December 5th, 1979 in Harlingen, Texas, Nick Stahl first announced his future as an actor at the age of 4. His parents took the declaration seriously. Several commercials and community plays (and two TV movies) later, he was hand-picked by Mel Gibson to play the young main character in "The Man Without a Face" (1993). Nick was 13 years old at the time. He disappeared then for a while, making some films that were not so successfull. However, in 1998 he starred in "Disturbing Behavior" and "The Thin Red Line", two films that put him back on the map.

He most recently starred as the reluctant hero Ben Hawkins on HBO's "Carnivāle" and the despicable Yellow Bastard of "Sin City". His next upcoming films are "The Night of the White Pants" and "A Cool Breeze on the Underground", both coming out in 2006.
